100th anniversary topped off with designation Royal
On September 9th, Lovink reached the milestone of 100 years in business. The anniversary was celebrated on that day with all of our important business partners. A large party was organised for the business partners at the location in Terborg. Lovink received many enthusiastic responses for the party and the overall presentation of the company. Guest speaker Wubbo Ockels was also highly impressed by the innovative power of Lovink. The day before, 170 members of the VNO-NCW Achterhoek had visited the site for a business presentation and tour of the company location. They were also impressed by the innovative and professional character of the company.On Saturday September 10th, an open house was held for the region. Area residents all know the company, but now they were also given the chance to see the company from the inside. The open house attracted a large number of visitors.
In honour of its 100th anniversary, Lovink was awarded the designation “Royal” by Her Majesty the Queen. Mayor Alberse (see photo) presented the designation to the current owners during the celebrations on 9 September.
The fabulous three-day event was concluded with a large party for all Lovink employees who, after three days of hard work during the various events, also celebrated the 100th anniversary and the award of the designation “Royal”.
